Mid Year Book Planning Goals | Update

Since it is now the middle of the year, it seems like a good time to check where I am at with the goals I set for myself at the beginning of the year. It is always fun to see if you have upheld to what you set out to achieve. It also makes you reflect and get back on track. Below are the goals from the original post I wrote back in December- 2019 Blog Planning.

» Post at least 4 days a week (as of right now they wont be on certain days)
» Fierce Female Reads February Event
» Have a guest post from other book bloggers/collab at least once a month
» Archive old irrelevant posts
» Create new book review structure
» Review all 2019 releases read & series completed
» Do monthly mini reviews of all other books read
» Post 3 book reviews a month
» At least 1 discussion post a month
» Boost more post through social media
» Develop & create more engaging and interesting content

  • I have not stuck to posting 4 days a week. Some weeks I have posted every day and some weeks its zero times a week.
  • I held a successful Book Blog event in February called Fierce Female Reads February where in collaboration with other book bloggers, showcased lots of Fierce Females in Literature and had a post go up everyday of the month.
  • I did really well with the book blogger collabs in February but need to step up my game
  • I’ve slowly been working on updating out posts since I went self hosted
  • The Book Review structure is still a work in progress
  • I think all but 1 of the 2019 releases I have read this year I have wrote reviews for! Make sure to check them out here Books Read 2019
  • I have not been doing mini reviews…oops
  • I’ve been posting book reviews more frequently than before but not 3 a month
  • I have not done any discussion posts this year – I don’t think
  • I’ve been definitely trying to boost more through social media and even started a fbook.
  • I have been trying to create more interesting content but would love some input from others.
