Short Holiday Romance Reads | Blogmas 2020

If you are anything like me, the last month of the year you are trying to get tons of reading in! For me this usually means dipping into those novellas and short story anthologies! I’m not going to claim by any means to be an expert in the short holiday romance reads. But have read a few lately and thought I would share. I feel like most of these can be read completely on their own, but there are some that are parts of series. Although not necessary to read the previous books they contain some information/backstory from the previous books. I don’t feel like you necessarily need to have read the others since it is a romance. It has a start and finish of its own. There are also a variety of different romances included! These are all under 200 pages and many are available on kindle unlimited!

Holiday Romance Recommendations

The Christmas Cadeau by KD Elizabeth

This was the perfect read for the holiday season! It is about a couple, Laure & Maxime that have upcoming family holiday fun and a possible proposal. Max was a little softer than I normally like my fictional men, but was so adorable. The ending was just too perfect!

Try As I Smite by Abigail Owen

This story is perfect for the coming holiday season. Who doesn’t love a steamy Christmas Carol retelling with a paranormal twist? In this dark twist of ” A Christmas Carol” we get to follow along with Delilah and Alasdair as they discover each others past. They learn more about the current demon issues impacting the Coven Syndicate.

Gifting Me To His Best Friend by Katee Robert

You better be in the North Pole when reading this because it is HOT! This was a MMF romance. The setting was very fitting for the holiday. There is not much else to say other than this is some great sexy SMUT!

Alien Boyfriend for Christmas by Luna Kingsley

This was such a fun fake dating romance with a virgin alien hero! We got to learn about another planet, which was fun! Isabel is going back to Earth for the holidays and was suppose to bring home a “boyfriend” to show she is over her ex. Her friend that was suppose to go with her is no longer approved to leave the planet so she pays Verrik, who is an alien, to go with her. We get Christmas/holiday traditions, family drama, and an adorable relationship! They were adorable together and it was super steamy!

Santa Daddy by Keira Andrews

This M/M daddy kink holiday romance does not disappoint! Nick is a sexy, gruff, grump that owns a Christmas tree farm. He agrees to play a mall Santa for his friend. Hunter is out of college, trying to find a job and his place in the world when he takes on being the mall Christmas elf for some extra cash. Hunter is a virgin, Nick is twice his age, but their romance was steamy and so very cute!

Charmed By Her Curves by C.L. Cruz

This steamy novella is perfect for you fans of Hallmark movies! Reid and Teigan and polar opposites but have so much chemistry and just work well together! Ainslee and Ms. Ruthie make for humorous side characters. If you like curvy free spirited heroines and sexy rule following heroes, this hot, steamy holiday romance is for you!

My Christmas Quarantine by Mika Lane

Talk about HOT! This is a reverse harem holiday romance that is so relevant to the current pandemic. Not being able to go home for Christmas because of COVID, Nina is stuck alone in a city. She hasn’t lived for long with no friends. But she does have three sexy neighbors who invite her for dinner! It is full of steamy wonderful smut! In the words of the author, Mika Lane, this is a hot, sexy romp!

The Snuggle Is Real by Frankie Love

So I want to start with this one was really not for me, but it seemed like the other people who read it on good reads enjoyed it. It’s a short holiday romance that features Cozette a woman on the run who stumbles upon an abandoned cabin to hide out in and Whitaker the owner of the cabin who escapes the city for the holiday. It was cute and I loved the setting, it felt so homey and wintery! Super fast read with a Christmas Miracle HEA.

Hungry For Her by Jagger Cole

So this was a Thanksgiving holiday read, but I’ll use that term lowly. It happens around Thanksgiving and that’s as holiday as it gets, but I wanted to include it because it was a great read! And technically people consider Die Hard a Christmas movie and it has nothing to do with Christmas except for it takes place during that time. This is a small town “mafia” romance with Caulter who is in witness protection in a small town as a baker and Sophie who is taking care of her Grams running from her own past. It had tons of humor & sass as well as some steamy moments and don’t forget some suspenseful action!

Have you read any short holiday romance reads lately? Have you read any of these?
