We LOVE It Wednesday

Words cannot even describe how I felt about this book. I feel like this book (and the Gentleman Bastard series as a whole) does not get enough hype. I know I am late to the game on this one too since it was published in 2007. The Lies of Locke Lamora is a high fantasy novel that includes thieves, crime and murder. I have to say that for me the best part was that there was no love story! Sometimes it is nice to have a novel that tells a great action packed story without including  love . Scott Lynch creates an amazing world and brilliantly brings it to life on every page. This is the first time I have dove into an adult high fantasy novel and I could not have been happier with the choice. The Lies of Locke Lamora created a suspenseful, exciting read that I could not put down.

  1. Great Review! I liked your comment of “being late in the game” since the book was published in 2007. I have been reviewing new books lately, too see if I can get more helpful clicks on Amazon…usually not though. Happy reading:)
