Netgalley ARCs

So while I was on Haley Knighten blog looking at her April Book Haul (You should go check out her blog!) I was reminded that I have gotten a few ARCs from Netgalley . This is a site where you can request e-books and has a ton of titles!

Screen Shot 2014-04-08 at 3.33.57 PM  Werewolf Parallel by Roy Gill

This is the sequel to the Daemon Parallel by Roy Gill. And was released March 20th 2014. Since its a sequel I am not going to go into what its about, but as you can tell from the cover it deals with werewolves.

Screen Shot 2014-04-08 at 3.38.38 PM The Girl From The Well by Rin Chupec                             Set to come out August 5th 2014. This is a YA Horror novel that deals with a Japanese ghost story and is told by a vengeful ghost. I have started this and it is very different than anything I have read recently. It reminds me of a mix of the films The Grudge, The Ring and Shutter.

Screen Shot 2014-04-08 at 3.43.13 PM           Amity by Micol Ostow                                            Set to come out August 26th 2014. This is also a YA Horror novel based on events of Amityville Horror. In the description it says for friends of Stephen King and American Horror Story. I am excited to start reading more YA horror novels and figured this would be a good start since I love the movies.

Screen Shot 2014-04-08 at 5.08.59 PM We Are The Goldens by Dana Reinhardt                           Set to come out May 27th 2014. This is a YA Contemporary and something else I don’t read a lot of. I got pre-approved by Netgalley for this ebook and figured why not give it a try. It is about the relationship between two sisters and how that relationship changes as they get older and other factors begin to appear and play a role between the two.

These are my first ever ARC copies so if anyone knows the protocol such as when I am able to post a review and such let me know!

  1. It is interesting so far and a little confusing, but that might be because I have been reading it in between other books. I need to sit down and read it all at once 🙂 But it definitely is creepy!
