Today’s Question: Do you typically agree or disagree with critics? Or are you somewhere in the middle?

I think it totally depends. There are sometimes I totally agree with the critics or consensus, but other times I totally disagree and believe something totally different. I don’t let others opinions sway my decision and thoughts on books. Recently this year I have read a few books that have a lot of hype and are raved about constantly/ talked about a lot, but I just didn’t feel the same way as all the others. I felt like I was reading a different book from all these people and really wanted to enjoy it as much as everyone else, but just didn’t. And than of course there are those books that are super hyped and everyone loves them and I couldn’t agree more. I guess the bottom line of what I am trying to say is I make very independent decisions on my feelings towards books and movies etc for that matter!

Would you say you agree or disagree with critics? Do you let others opinions sway your thoughts/feelings?

(Its not a bad thing if you do. Don’t be ashamed or anything. There are other things in life that I have totally let people sway my opinions of and sometimes it has let me experience things I never would have done without that influence!)
