Friday Reads {9/5}

Untitled design-11So like usual I am currently reading too many books all at the same time. I have been18980000 in a weird reading mood and have some review books I need to get done that I have been slacking on. I am about a little more than half-way through The Girl and the Clockwork Cat by Nikki McCormack. This is a new release and so far I am greatly enjoying the YA- Steampunk/Science Fiction/Mystery. The main character is so feisty, the victorian era is depicted amazingly and there is a cat! I am also currently listening to the third and final book in the Breathing Trilogy, Out of Breath by Rebecca Donovan. Although the first one is still my favorite I have really been enjoying listening to these books on audible and overall greatly enjoying the trilogy.  13638570

I recently also started Shovel Ready by Adam Sternbergh. I received this from Blogging For Book in exchange for an honest review. This is a very unique book and has me quite intrigued. It has some very interesting writing style and content. I am hoping the rest of the book is just as great as the beginning! I also am picking up Brave New World by Aldous Huxley. This is the first of two books that I will be reading for the September Book of the Month for the FCLA Book Club. I have been wanting to read more classics especially classic dystopians that have paved the way for many of the newer dystopians that I love today! I can’t wait to start it and I am sure I will have a lot to say about it so look out for the reaction posts to follow!
