Friday Reads [10/24]

Untitled design-1118039030I have been knocking it out with the reading so far this month and I am getting to that point where I am reading multiple books all at the same time. After I finished the last book I read, I picked up The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan. I have to say that so far this book is not what I expected it to be. I was expecting The Village meets Walking Dead and so far it just feels like a love story with not enough zombies. I got about 100 pages into the book when I had to set it aside because I got my copy of Stone 20821525Cold Touch by Jennifer L. Armentrout. Ever since I finished White Hot Kiss by Jennifer L. Armentrout, I needed the sequel. I am about 150 pages in and it is making me love Roth even more! There are a few things I have been annoyed with, but overall I am really enjoying it. Other than those two I am listening the The Source by J.D Horn as an audiobook. I am pretty sure that is all I will be able to get through (if even) this weekend!

What are your plans for the weekend?Anything fun or exciting happening ? What are you reading/planning on reading? I would love to hear from you!

  1. I loved Forest of Hands and Teeth but I’d probably choose JLA over it any day (no offense FOHAT). I’m currently reading City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare. The last few books have made me lose hope almost completely in the series but I’m determined to read the entire series and all of the companion series’! I’m also trying to decide whether or not to pick up a scary book for Halloween… I’m not that big of a horror fan but some can be good.\

  2. I am having trouble getting into The Forest of Hands and Teeth which makes me sad. I really want to read TMI series I have only read the first book . I have heard a lot of people are as big of fans as the last three books but I really want to be able to read TID trilogy because everyone raves about that! I have been read Halloweenish type books all month and it’s been fun! Some aren’t scary but more paranormal and such !
