Today’s Question: What is the scariest book you have ever read?

I don’t know what the scariest book I have EVER read is, but recently I have read some creepy ones that gave me chills. Sanctum by Madeleine Roux definitely gave me some chills and was such a realistic story! Then there is 172 Hours on the Moon by Johan Harstad that definitely creeped me out and had me on edge.

What is the scariest book you have ever read? I would love some recs!

  1. Cool post! I haven’t actually read any scary books. I’d rather not, but I do have Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children on my bookshelf, still to be read, and I’ve heard it’s quite creepy. I love this event that you do, is it open for anyone to participate in?

  2. I will have to look those up. I’m always looking for books to scare me! And the best are the ones that are realistic – those creep me out the most, and I love it! Whispers and Lies by Joy Fielding is the one I remember scaring me the most.
