My first Friday Reads being back home and back to regular reading! I have been all over with my reading lately and I am working on multiple different books at the current moment. While I was gone I got really behind on reviews so that is my first priority. I just started The Alchemist’s Daughter by Mary Lawrence last night. This is one that was sent to me by the author and I have put it off too long. I am really excited to dive into this book! I am also listening to Under Different Stars by Amy A. Bartol on audible. It is something different and I am really hoping to enjoy it.

What books are you currently reading or planning on reading this weekend?

  1. I’m intrigued by The Alchemist’s Daughter, I hadn’t heard of it until now but I really like the 16th/17th century period in literature and history so maybe I should pick it up! How are you liking it so far? 🙂

  2. The cover for Under Different Stars reminds me of a book I read with similar image (When Siren’s Call).
I just finished The Martian on audiobook and loved it!! I’m going to start The Witch’s Market tomorrow. 🙂
