2016 Bookish Bucket List | Update

DECEMBER-2

I have been so busy lately and reading has been put on the wayside along with my blog. I hate that I have been so busy and havent spent much time in the book world. I feel so lost and behind on the new books and bookish happenings. What is new?

♠ Read at least 50 books. [ I have read 16 books and DNF 1 book so far!]

♠ Finish the Harry Potter series [ This probably wont be a thing until Christmas time]

♠ Read at least three daunting books. [ I have read 1 so far! The Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson and that might be it for the year :/]

♠ Keep up with reviews and review copies. [ This is like a never ending struggle]

♠ Keep my book purchasing to sequels. [ I have been acquiring a lot of books lately…oops ]

♠ Read More Diversely {5 non-fiction}. [ I have read 1 non fiction so far but have so many that I want to get to.]

♠ Revisit My Past [ This hasn’t been a thing yet, but there is time. Although probably not anytime soon]

♠ Start New Blog Series. [Its a work in progress that wont happen anytime soon]

♠ Complete My 2016 Challenges.  This includes completing 10 series, the 30 books of my TBR challenge, at least 5 LGBTQIA books and the 40 books of the Popsugar Reading Challenge!

♠ Make New Blogging Friends. [ I am trying!]

What are some of your 2016 goals/resolutions?

THE CRUELTY BY S. BERGSTROM

29102898

When her diplomat father is kidnapped and the U.S. Government is unable to help, 17 year-old Gwendolyn Bloom sets off across the sordid underbelly of Europe to rescue him. Following the only lead she has—the name of a Palestinian informer living in France—she plunges into a brutal world of arms smuggling and human trafficking. As she journeys from the slums of Paris, to the nightclubs of Berlin, to the heart of the most feared crime family in Prague, Gwendolyn discovers that to survive in this new world she must become every bit as cruel as the men she’s hunting.
