2016 Bookish Bucket List | Update

DECEMBER-2

I have been so busy lately and reading has been put on the wayside along with my blog. I hate that I have been so busy and havent spent much time in the book world. I feel so lost and behind on the new books and bookish happenings. What is new?

♠ Read at least 50 books. [ I have read 18 books and DNF 1 book so far!]

♠ Finish the Harry Potter series [ This probably wont be a thing until Christmas time, but I really want to get around to it.]

♠ Read at least three daunting books. [ I have read 1 so far! The Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson and that might be it for the year :/There are so many books I have that fit this I wish I could get to ]

♠ Keep up with reviews and review copies. [ This is like a never ending struggle. I think once I am back home this will be an easier task for me]

♠ Keep my book purchasing to sequels. [ I have been acquiring a lot of books lately…oops. I have found so many cute bookshops during my travels and a lot of bargains for books I have been looking for.  ]

♠ Read More Diversely {5 non-fiction}. [ I have read 1 non fiction so far but have so many that I want to get to. I am currently reading a non-fiction that is absolutely amazing!]

♠ Revisit My Past [ This hasn’t been a thing yet, but there is time. Although probably not anytime soon]

♠ Start New Blog Series. [Its a work in progress that wont happen anytime soon. I have a lot of ideas. I just need to implement them.]

♠ Complete My 2016 Challenges.  This includes completing 10 series, the 30 books of my TBR challenge, at least 5 LGBTQIA books and the 40 books of the Popsugar Reading Challenge! [A lot of these I will not be able to get to]

♠ Make New Blogging Friends. [ I am trying!]

What are some of your 2016 goals/resolutions?

  1. Good list, my only goal is read more and review more. Very hard to do. You should def try to finish the HP series is amazing. What makes The Final Empire daunting? It’s a great book. 🙂

  2. Yes it is, was just wondering why you found it daunting, there’s some I put off reading because it’s going to be sad or really heavy going or sounds good but a little out of comfort zone. I do put off books because of size too. 🙂
