2016 Bookish Bucket List | November Update

I have been so busy lately and reading has been put on the wayside along with my blog. I hate that I have been so busy and havent spent much time in the book world. I feel so lost and behind on the new books and bookish happenings. What is new?

♠ Read at least 50 books. [ I have read 19 books and DNF 1 book so far!]

♠ Finish the Harry Potter series [ This is going to have to be moved to 2017.]

♠ Read at least three daunting books. [ I have read 1 so far! The Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson and that might be it for the year :/ There is just not enough time left ]

♠ Keep up with reviews and review copies. [ This is like a never ending struggle. I think I am going to hit an imaginary reset and start over in 2017]

♠ Keep my book purchasing to sequels. [ I have been acquiring a lot of books lately…oops. I have found so many cute bookshops during my travels and a lot of bargains for books I have been looking for.  ]

♠ Read More Diversely {5 non-fiction}. [ I have read 2 non fiction so far but have so many that I want to get to.]

♠ Revisit My Past [ This hasn’t been a thing yet. Re-reading books have moved quite low on my list]

♠ Start New Blog Series. [Its a work in progress that wont happen anytime soon. I have a lot of ideas. I just need to implement them.2017 its going to happen I hope]

♠ Complete My 2016 Challenges.  This includes completing 10 series, the 30 books of my TBR challenge, at least 5 LGBTQIA books and the 40 books of the Popsugar Reading Challenge! [A lot of these I will not be able to get to]

♠ Make New Blogging Friends. [ I am trying!]

What are some of your 2016 goals/resolutions?

  1. I’m kind of the opposite of you! While you’ve been all about the new reads, I’ve been in the rereading mood lately and for the past 3 months, I’ve barely read any new books. I just don’t have a lot of time to read this semester so I like to go back to my comfort books that I know are great whenever I have a spare moment 🙂
