5 Star Predictions 2020 Releases -

I have seen these all over the book community, but have never put together a 5 Star Predictions for myself. I feel like I would be setting myself up for failure. But this was requested as a post so I thought I would give it a try. I wanted to have a focused theme for this post and not just a bunch of random books although they kind of are, but I thought it would be fun to do a 5 Star Predictions for 2020 Releases!

There are already quite a few 2020 releases that I have read and absolutely loved and enjoyed. If I would have created this list before I read them I am not sure I would have selected them, but they were well written, had unique stories and some fierce female characters! All The Stars And Teeth by Adalyn Grace

Published: February 4th 2020

I received this book from BOTM and it has been calling to me from my shelf. Its a Young Adult Fantasy with Pirates! I mean what else do you need, also have you seen this cover. I have heard nothing but great things about this books and I am so looking forward to jumping into it and giving this debut author a shot!

A Heart Of Blood And Ashes by Milla Vane

Published: February 4th 2020

It should come as no surprise to see some romance appear on this list. I have really been enjoying romance lately and think this one will make my Ice Planet Barbarian loving heart happy! I haven’t read many fantasy romance books but I think with Barbarians and political intrigue it will be exactly what I love!

Deal With The Devil by Kit Rocha

Publication Date: July 28 2020

Another romance! This one is a post apocalyptic romance, so I am hoping it is full of action as well as some steam! It has a team of mercenary librarians and I am hoping it is an absolute romp. I have never read anything from this author and I am a little hesitant with saying its going to be a 5 star read, but I am hoping for the best!

The Blood King by Abigail Owen

Publication Date: August 1 2020

I might be taking a risk saying this because this is a second book in a series and I am hoping it doesn’t suffer from second book syndrome. I read The Rogue King last year and really enjoyed it. Since then I have read quite a bit by Owen and I am really enjoying her world she created. This is a paranormal romance about dragon shifters! There is politics, fight scenes and some hot, steamy moments! I adore that the first book had an actual plot that was well done!

The Scapegracers by Hannah Abigail Clarke

Publication Date: September 15 2020

It was suppose to come out in May and was on my April TBR, but since the release date got pushed I felt like I should wait a little to pick it up. I am so excited about this one! It has Sapphic and LGBT+ characters that are also witches! It seems like its going to be tons of fun with great relationships and humor! Just from the synopsis it is giving off like Undead Girl Gang vibes and I really loved that book! I think we need more Young Adult books that showcase fierce female friendships and LGBT characters! I am hoping to pick this one up real soon.
