This is the second installment of my new feature of Ashley’s Adventures on the Internet. I got some positive feedback on my first post (if you haven’t seen it or don’t know what this feature is about check it out here!) As long as people keep searching funny things on the internet that lead them to my blog I will attempt to the best of my abilities to answer their searches/questions. Enjoy Ashley’s Adventures on the Internet 2 !
*disclaimer: I have not altered these phrases. They are exactly as they appear on my stats page. These are search terms of real people*
“how many words is the lies of locke lamora?”
My question to you is “WHY DOES IT MATTER?” There are words and a lot of them. I do not think anyone has counted them and probably only the author/editor know, but again why does it matter. If you want to know in the hardcover edition of The Lie of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch there are 500 pages and in the mass market paperback edition of The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch there are 722 pages. The important thing to take from this is it is a book I highly recommend because I think it is fantastic!
“rabbit hole movie synopsis”
So this search term isn’t all that funny, but it is one of those that makes me question the person searching the internet for this. Usually when I am looking on the internet for movies (trailers, synopsis, cast etc) I go to sites like IMDb because that handles all movie stuff. Why would you click on a link for a book blog. When I typed this into a search engine my blog didnt even show up on the first search page. But since you seem to not know how the internet works here is the link to the movie synopsis, a review/synopsis and here is the synopsis for the movie:
“Life for a happy couple is turned upside down after their young son dies in an accident.”
“beautiful creatures did macon love ethans mom”
I’ve only read Beautiful Creatures and not the other books in the series by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl. I have no idea if this ever becomes relevant, but from what I remember *SPOILER WARNING* Macon dies in the first book. I don’t remember it ever being mentioned or brought up. But my advice to you would be to read the book. Again even if he does/did its not important enough to waste your time googling this information in my opinion. But again what do I know.

Why does the word count matter? Usually if you want to know how long a book is you just look at the number of pages?? And you have wonderful sites like Goodreads for that? And did they seriously think they could find a blogpost or something about how many words the book has 😆
I know. People are so silly.
Great idea for posts!! I love looking at what search terms bring people to my blog. Recent favourites which have left me scratching my head have been “whose penis in horns?” and “cross dressing boyfriend same size shoe.” I have no idea how they arrived at my blog with those search terms but hope they found the information they needed somewhere on the web.
Those are really funny. Like dont people realize what we are before they click the link. Silly people
