I am a believer that every season/ time of year has a different type and genre of book associated with it. Typically in the winter I am craving dark, atmospheric, fantasy or historical fiction novels. They just scream cuddled up on the couch in front of a fire with a hot cup of cocoa!
∴ The Bear and the Nightingale by Katherine Arden
∴ Hunted by Meagan Spooner
∴ Midwinterblood by Marcus Sedgwick
∴ Prince of Thorns by Mark Lawrence
∴ Cress by Marissa Meyer
∴ Between the Blade and the Heart by Amanda Hocking
∴ The Underground Railroad by Colson Whitehead
∴ Last Star Burning by Caitlin Sangster
∴ The Tiger’s Daughter by K Arsenault Rivera
∴ Kings of Broken Things by Theodore Wheeler
What books do you think make good winter reads? Do you read certain types of books at certain times of the year? What books do you hope to read this winter?
