BoB15-200x200

Today’s challenge is hosted by Writing My Own Fairytale

[Today’s challenge is easy. I’ve listed five bookish would you rathers down below and you just have to answer them. You can answer wherever it is you’re updating you BOB progress. (If you’re on Twitter, make sure you’re using the #boutofbooks and just link up one tweet.) Then come back and link up your answers so people can come check out what you’d rather do and enter the giveaway!]
Would you rather:
Lend books to someone who dog-ears pages or to someone who reads with cheesy Cheetos fingers?
I think I would rather have the pages dog-eared. Although I sometimes do it, I really hate when there is liquid and food around my books. I spend a lot of money on them and they are part of a collection not to be ruined.
Would you rather:
Be able to meet one character of your choice or meet one author of your choice?
This is a very tough decision. In one case I would want to meet the author because they are the one that created the book/world/people I love and fell in love with. I would want to thank them and just have a chance to talk to them about their inspirations and favorites books etc. But then there are a few swoony characters that I would be or so very happy to get the chance to meet. I mean it is a tough choice to give up meeting an all time favorite character or fictional boyfriend.
Would you rather:
Never be allowed in a book store again or never be allowed in a library again?
Ugh why do you do this to me. I think I have to choose never to be allowed in a library again. I just love walking around and spending time in bookstores too much.
Would you rather:
Have to choose one of your favorite characters to die in their book or have to pick one of your favorite couples to break up in their book?
I am not a huge romantic so I would rather see a couple break up that way the character I love is still alive. That might be selfish, but oh well.
Would you rather:
Be required to read Twilight once a year for the rest of your life or The Scarlet Letter once a year for the rest of your life?
Well I have never read The Scarlet Letter but I think regardless I probably still would have picked Twilight. It had a big role in getting me into the YA craze growing up and is definitely a guilty pleasure read!

Which would you rather?

  1. I’ve never read The Scarlet Letter either but would still choose Twilight. It just doesn’t seem like something I would want to read over and over, nonetheless get through even once!
As for the others, I choose every single one of your answers too (: It’s the lesser of the two evils! Food stains on my books makes me cringe!
