I have been crazy busy with work lately and have been struggling with reading. And of course this is while I am hosting my blogiversary read-a-thon Down The Read-A-Thon Hole Challenge. Currently I am reading 3 different books and who knows what will happen this weekend. I am about halfway through listening to Brave by Jennifer L Armentrout, the last book in the Wicked Trilogy. It is a New Adult paranormal romance. I really enjoyed this trilogy so far and I am super interested to see where its going to go and how it is going to end.
I started listening to The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan, which is something I really need to get to since it is a well loved series by many.
I am also reading The Looking Glass Wars by Frank Beddor, which is an Alice in Wonderland retelling. I am about a third of the way into it and I am really liking it. It is like the reverse of the original story and has some almost steampunk-ish vibes at times and a very interest interpretation of imagination and creation. I am really hoping to make some progress on these reads as next weekend I leave on vacation.
