MAY BOOK HAUL!!!

This month was not unlike the past few months, meaning I bought A LOT of books!( I think the total number is 24 physical books and 4 e-books)  I graduated college this month and ended up treating myself to a lot of books. I also pre-ordered some books and got some really cheap from Bookoutlet and Thrift books!

Harry Potter Box Set by J.K Rowling

( I finally bought it! And plan to start reading them in June along with other bloggers and booktubers. If you would like to participate use the hashtag on twitter: #SummerofSpells)

Misborn Trilogy Box Set by Brandon Sanderson

(I splurged a little and bought this box set with the UK covers! They are just so pretty I couldn’t help it. This is a high fantasy series that is being raved about in the book community! I can’t wait to start reading these this summer.)

Bloodlines by Richelle Mead

(If you follow my blog you know I just recently finished the Vampire Academy series and absolutely loved it! I can’t wait to start reading this spin off series and get back into the VA world!)

Obsidian and Origin by Jennifer L. Armentrout

(I have falling in love with Jennifer L. Armentrout’s writing and have heard nothing but great things about this series!  This is a series about aliens. Origin is actually the fourth book, but I found it on Bookoutlet for cheap and had to buy it. )

Taken at Dusk, Whispers at Moonrise and Chosen at Nightfall by C.C. Hunter

(These are the last three books in the Shadow Falls Series, a paranormal series. I also found these for cheap on Bookoutlet and already had the first two, so know I will be able to marathon the series. )

Beautiful Chaos and Dangerous Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl

(I have been wanting to finish the Caster Chronicles and finally purchased the third book in the series, Beautiful Chaos. My copy of Dangerous Creatures is SIGNED!!!! It is also a recent release and a spin off series to the Caster Chronicles focusing on Ridley. )

The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken

Winger by Andrew Smith

Let The Sky Fall by Shannon Messenger

Charm and Strange by Stephanie Kuehn

Mystic City by Theo Lawrence

(I don’t know much about these books, but that so many people on booktube and twitter love these books or have recently hauled them! I found them all really cheap and figured why not!)

Guardian by Alex London  (not pictured)

(This should be my mail soon because I pre-ordered it! This is the second book to Proxy, which I read and really enjoyed earlier this year. This is also one of my most anticipated books of 2014. It left things unanswered and with a cliff hanger and once it gets here I will be devouring it!)

KINDLE E-BOOKS

Bitter Sweet Love by Jennifer L. Armentrout (novella)

Pushing The Limits by Katie McGarry

Awaken by Jamie Guerard

Origins: The Fire (Mila 2.0) by Debra Driza (novella)

Have you read any of these books? Have any thoughts? What did you purchase this month?

  1. Holy book haul, Batman! That’s a great lot you’ve got there. If this is your first go at Harry Potter, then I’m jealous. Would give anything to be reading them for the first time.

  2. Oh my word, those HP covers are amaze! Can you link me up?!?! Can’t wait to hear your thoughts on them, I’ve loved them since I was 8! I really want to comment on the rest of your haul, but I can’t stop drooling at HP. In fact, I’m going to scroll up just once more…

  3. So many pretty books! I’m working through the Caster Chronicles too! Can’t wait to finish VA and start Bloodlines! I’ve read the first two of the Lux series and didn’t think they lived up to the hype. Interested to hear your thoughts on all of these. Happy reading!

  4. This is an awesome list! I LOVE it when people start reading Harry Potter because I’m such a massive fan. I’ve got Beautiful Creatures but haven’t started reading it yet, can’t wait to get stuck into that one. Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry is brilliant. I’m currently reading the newest book int he series Take Me On and I am loving it. Her books are awesome! Happy Reading 😀
