So I am going to preface this by saying that I should not be allowed on the internet while under the influence. I was out this weekend celebrating with my friend and came home and couldn’t sleep and decided it would be a good idea to buy books.
A Monster Calls, Patrick Ness
(I am obsessed with monsters! I have heard lots of good things about this book as well as this author. The illustrations are absolutely beautiful!)
Prodigy, Marie Lu
(This is the second book in the Legend trilogy. I have recently bought the first book and waiting until I buy the last to marathon the whole trilogy!)
The Selection, Kiera Cass
(I do not know much about this trilogy. The covers are beautiful and I have heard good things about these books so I guess I will give the trilogy a try! Let me know if you have read them and what you thought)
The Selection Stories, Kiera Cass
(These are the bind up of the novellas for the Selection trilogy. So I had to buy them because I like the physical novellas so much better!)
Under the Never Sky, Veronica Rossi
(This has a lot of hype right now and I have heard a lot about this trilogy and I am excited to start it!)
One Realm Beyond, Donita K. Paul
(I am reviewing this book for Harper Collins Christian Publishing. This is a fantasy novel involving dragons and other realms. I am so intrigued and interested because I don’t think I have ever read a christian fantasy before. )
Mortal Danger, Ann Aguirre
(I received this e-Arc from netgalley. This is the first book in Ann Aguirre’s new YA Immortal Game trilogy. Check out the synopsis on Goodreads !It is set to be released August 5th 2014)
Curses and Smoke: A novel of Pompeii, Vicky Alvear Shecter
(I received this e-Arc from netgalley. I am trying to broaden my reading spectrum. This is something different than I normally read and during the time of Pompeii, which interests me. It is due to be released May 27th 2014)
Obsessed (The Crush I and The Crush II), Jo Gibson
(I received this e-Arc from netgalley. This is a two novels in one on the topic of romantic obsession. Yet again reading out of my comfort zone. This is also set to be released May 27th)
Talented, Sophie Davis
( I got this as an ebook on kindle for FREE! It has good ratings and just figured why not since I got it for free!)
Dangerous (Element Preserve), Alycia Unwood
(This was also a free ebook on Amazon. I do not know anything about it but looked interesting and yet again was free)
I have a lot of ebooks which is weird because I am not a fan of reading ebooks especially since some of these are only available on my iPhone and they are hard to read off that. As always if you have read any of these or have thoughts let me know (just make sure you don’t spoil anything for me !)
