New To Me Authors 2022

New To Me Authors 2022

It has again been another year of discovering new books and new authors. It was fun as I went to go start this post and look at my picks from last year of those new to me authors I fell in love with in 2021. I continued to explore my reading tastes in 2022 and begun to read books and genres that years ago I would have gone nowhere near. I think that is whats so great about books, as you grow and your tastes change there is always a book out there for you!

I have to say I read a ton of amazing books this year and but didn’t branch out as much as previous years. This year was tough and I found comfort in authors and worlds that I love and were familiar. But there were a few new ones that made appearances and made an impact on me! So here are my newly discovered new to me authors 2022 edition!

New To Me Authors 2022

B.K Borison

This was a late year find for me and I have to thank the romance community for talking up the Lovelight series books! I am not usually one for contemporary romances, but they were sweet while also a little spicy. Not to mention that the new love of my life is in this series and I will read anything in which Beckett is present!

Christina Henry

So not like totally new to me because I have owned books by Christina Henry for years, but this is the first year I have actually read a book by Henry. I am obsessed! I have completed 3 so far this year and love the dark twisty take on fairy tales!

Ashley Herring Blake

Another author I have hear about in the book community, but had never read. I also believe most of her books are YA which haven’t captured my interests. But Delilah Green Doesn’t Care caught my eye and I am so happy it did and I am excited to explore more of Blake’s books. Especially those that are adult books!

Caroline O’Donoghue

I happened to pick up All Our Hidden Gifts based on the cover and the fact that I like tarot cards. I am so happy I did because I so enjoyed O’Donoghue’s writing as it was filled with humor, intrigue and created a fast paced story I couldn’t put down.

Trilina Pucci

I just read Tangled in Tinsel and I am in love! Well at least with the 4 men in this story! It makes me almost nervous to look into any other books by this author because it makes me nervous I will be disappointed. But I have to say I am slightly intrigued.

Do you have any new to me authors that you have discovered this year?
