ARC August | TBR

I have seen this around in the book community the past couple of years, but I have never had enough ARCs to make a month of it. I do not plan on participating in any challenges or anything thing of the like beside participate in reading all the ARCs I have in August! Hosted by Read. Sleep.Repeat.

Here is the list of ARCs I have and that I am hoping to get to in the month of August!

♦ Girls of Paper and Fire by Natasha Ngan {Pub Date 11/18}

♦ Seventh Born by Monica Sanz {Pub Date 9/4/18}

♦ Keeper of the Bees by Meg Kassel {Pub Date 9/4/18}

♦ Outrun the Wind by Elizabeth Tammi {Pub Date 11/27/18}

♦ Home and Away by Candice Montgomery {Pub Date 10/16/18}

♦ Freedom Trials by Meredith Tate {Pub Date 10/2/18}

♦ Afterimage by Naomi Hughes {Pub Date 9/18/18}

Are you going to be participating in ARC August? If so what ARCs will you be reading?

Twitter Book Haul

FullSizeRenderIn the past month I have been lucky enough to win two twitter giveaways by some fantastic people! It seems like twitter giveaways are the only time I am ever lucky (and believe me I am a very unlucky person haha) I usually retweet twitter giveaways just to do it and never expected to win. So moral of the story: amazing things happen with twitter giveaways so you should check them out if you don’t already! They are so great and so many awesome people are always holding them. A lot of times they are for ARC copies of books before they come out (especially publishing company twitters!) So I would like to thank both Steph @InsomniaBooks and Rachel @hellochelly for their amazing giveaways! (check them out on Twitter!)

Avalon by Mindee Arnett

Unremembered by Jessica Brody

Friday Reads: The ARC Edition {7/4}

Untitled design-11HowWeFallCoverHappy 4th of July weekend to those of you that are celebrating! I am back home for the weekend relaxing, hanging out with my family and enjoying the sunshine! I am hoping to get quite a lot of reading done and dubbed this the weekend of reading my ARCs! I am still not 100% sure which one I want to start first, but I received an Arc of How We Fall by Kate Brauning from the author for review and it is being published in November. I also won an Arc of Landline by Rainbow Rowell (publish date July 8th, 2014) from Goodreads and received and e-Arc of The Vault of Dreamers (publish date Sept. 16th 2014) by Caragh O’Brien from netgalley. So that is going to be my book filled weekend.

What are you currently reading or planning on reading?

Netgalley ARCs

So while I was on Haley Knighten blog looking at her April Book Haul (You should go check out her blog!) I was reminded that I have gotten a few ARCs from Netgalley . This is a site where you can request e-books and has a ton of titles!

Screen Shot 2014-04-08 at 3.33.57 PM  Werewolf Parallel by Roy Gill

This is the sequel to the Daemon Parallel by Roy Gill. And was released March 20th 2014. Since its a sequel I am not going to go into what its about, but as you can tell from the cover it deals with werewolves.

Screen Shot 2014-04-08 at 3.38.38 PM The Girl From The Well by Rin Chupec                             Set to come out August 5th 2014. This is a YA Horror novel that deals with a Japanese ghost story and is told by a vengeful ghost. I have started this and it is very different than anything I have read recently. It reminds me of a mix of the films The Grudge, The Ring and Shutter.

Screen Shot 2014-04-08 at 3.43.13 PM           Amity by Micol Ostow                                            Set to come out August 26th 2014. This is also a YA Horror novel based on events of Amityville Horror. In the description it says for friends of Stephen King and American Horror Story. I am excited to start reading more YA horror novels and figured this would be a good start since I love the movies.

Screen Shot 2014-04-08 at 5.08.59 PM We Are The Goldens by Dana Reinhardt                           Set to come out May 27th 2014. This is a YA Contemporary and something else I don’t read a lot of. I got pre-approved by Netgalley for this ebook and figured why not give it a try. It is about the relationship between two sisters and how that relationship changes as they get older and other factors begin to appear and play a role between the two.

These are my first ever ARC copies so if anyone knows the protocol such as when I am able to post a review and such let me know!
