Emoji Book Tag

I was tagged to do this by Dalal Reads . So thank you so much for tagging me and the nice words you have said about my blog 🙂 I love mixing it up every once in awhile to do a tag because 1.) they are fun and make me think and 2.) I feel like it allows people to learn more about me as a person, blogger and reader !

So what this tag is, is you picking your top 5 most used emojis and pairing them up with which book you think is best represented/most like that emoji, explain what you use the emoji for and why it is paired with that book. I will also state that I have some funny most used emojis and they are basically all used for when I am texting Autumn @ Kitty Cat Reads ! I also found them really hard to associate with books so I will try my best!  So here we go:

♠  Kitty Emoji

I usually only use this when texting Autumn. We call each other Kitten so it is usually referring to each other, our actual cats or when I think something is cute!

So the book that I would pair up with this is The Song of the Lioness Quartet by Tamora Pierce. Autumn is the one who told me to read them so when I think about those books I associate them with her. They is also a cat in the books and there are part that are super cute etc.

Love Struck Kitty Emoji

I usually use this one when I am completely in love with something or super excited about something!

The book that I am going to pair up with this is the book that has recently WOW-ed me and that would be How We Fall by Kate Brauning. I was completely surprised by this book and ended up liking it a lot more than I thought I would. It created so many feels.

♠ Heart Emoji

Unknown-1

This is pretty self explanatory. This is to show my love towards someone or something.

This I am going to pair up with one of my favorite book that I can’t stop raving about so far this year! And that would be  A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness. This was so emotional and heartbreaking and although it absolutely tore apart my heart it also found a big place in my heart!

♠ Smily Kitty Emoji

Unknown

This is the smily kitty emoji that is use for when I am happy or can’t stop smiling at something.

I would pair this up with the book that had me smiling the whole way through. It was funny and beautifully woven together that I just want everyone to read it and love it as much as I do and that is The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch.

♠ Chicken Leg

I use this to talk about chicken, being hungry or as a reference of love to Autumn!

For this I am pairing it up with the book that left me craving for more. And I actually have two books for this that I have read recently that left me wanting more story and the sequel like yesterday! And those would be Hexed by Michelle Krys and Branded by Abi and Missy!

I hope you enjoyed my pairings and that they made a little sense. I am not going to tag anyone specifically, but if you want to do this make sure you that you leave you link to your post in my comments so I can’t check out what you choose to do!
