October Book Haul | 2017

So I made a trip to Half Price Books and ended up making some purchases for myself. I also received a book from Entangled Publishing! A.G Howard is my of my favorite authors and I found a signed copy of one of her books that I have read, but didn’t own yet! I also found an amazing old edition of A Christmas Carol by Dickens. I am not a huge Christmas fan, but identify with Scrooge and love collecting older editions of classics!

RoseBlood by A.G Howard

Rebel of the Sands by Alwyn Hamilton

The Name of the Star by Maureen Johnson

A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens

The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern

Female Executions: Martyrs, Murderesses and Madwomen by Geoffrey Abbott

Surprise Book Box | Entangled Publishing

I came home to an absolutely perfect unexpected surprise in the mail today! This is the first time I have received a book box from a publisher and feel so honored to get this opportunity! Thank you to Entangled Publishing and the author Mary Lindsey so much for this opportunity and the chance to read Haven!

♠ Hardcover Copy of Haven by Mary Lindsey (Release Date:11/7/17)

♠ Haven Inspired Mug ” No excuses go get it, girl” – I cant wait to read the book and find out the context of this quote, but it is perfect motivation for my morning coffee!

♠ Haven Themed Tote Bag- There is no such thing as too many tote bags and this one will be perfect for me to transport items with a cute quote “We all have a beast inside. The only difference is what form it takes when freed.”

♠ Lavender Sachet- This smells so amazing and I have been meaning to pick up some lavender for my room!

♠ Handmade Wolf Charm Bookmark- I love wolves and this bookmark it just adorable!

♠ Stickers- There were 2 stickers! One was of the book and the other says ” Keep Calm and Howl On”!

♠ Not pictured:Chocolate- There was some super yummy chocolate in the box but I ate it before I took pictures (oops)

Additional Entangled Swag

♠ Outlet USB Charger- You can never have too many of these either since I am always losing mine

While I Was Away Book Haul

Over the past year I have acquired a lot of books. Some were sent to me for review and others I either bought or got from this amazing free book store. If any of you are from the Baltimore area there is a place called The Book Thing. It is a free book store that has donated books in which you can go in and take as many as you want. It is a wonderful thing for book lovers. Now that I am back home I really wish that I had something like that at my disposal. While going through all these books you might notice something different. I have really started to get into non-fiction lately and especially those non-fiction books that pertain to what I am interested in, went to school for and want a career in!

Twitter Book Haul

FullSizeRenderIn the past month I have been lucky enough to win two twitter giveaways by some fantastic people! It seems like twitter giveaways are the only time I am ever lucky (and believe me I am a very unlucky person haha) I usually retweet twitter giveaways just to do it and never expected to win. So moral of the story: amazing things happen with twitter giveaways so you should check them out if you don’t already! They are so great and so many awesome people are always holding them. A lot of times they are for ARC copies of books before they come out (especially publishing company twitters!) So I would like to thank both Steph @InsomniaBooks and Rachel @hellochelly for their amazing giveaways! (check them out on Twitter!)
