New Holiday Movie Reviews Blogmas 2022

I first posted New Holiday Movie Reviews a few years ago when Netflix was killing it and releasing a ton of original holiday movies. So since I openly share my thoughts on books, it felt right to share my thoughts on the holiday movies released in the year. Last year the there were a ton of streaming services that stepped up their game, check out my New Holiday Movie Reviews from 2021  There were so many that came out this year with some hits and some misses!

The Noel Diary

4/5

This one was cute. I loved the dog of course! It felt a little bit of a rushed romance for me, like I don’t feel like the relationship was developed well. I enjoyed the banter and forced proximity. I also love Barrett Doss!

Christmas With You

3/5

This wasn’t horrible, but like it wasn’t that great either. Freddie Prince Jr. was just so awkward for me and was not a good fit for this role in my opinion. I felt like this story line has also been done a few time before. I loved the Tias! But probably would not watch this again.

Something From Tiffany's

5/5

I thought this had the perfect blend of sweet, humorous with a splash or tears. Not to mention I adore Zoey Deutch and love all the movies she is in because it always has the same sort of humor and banter. The setting being New York also just feels like a classic!

Holiday Harmony

4/5

I enjoyed this one more than I thought I would. It had some sass and banter, funny parents and of course the cute little kids! Definitely gave the small town like Stars Hollow vibes. And would it be a Christmas movie if it didn’t have some past trauma/sadness. Loved the music!

Spirited

3.5/5

The singing was a lot for me. I do love Will Ferrell and it fit his typical humor. I did enjoy the concept of the movie and felt like it was a fun take on the original story as well as giving parallels to like a Santa Clause movie. I just come back to that singing.

Catering Christmas

3/5

I have no idea if this is a Hallmark movie but definitely felt like one. The storyline was familiar, but for this one it didn’t seem to bother me. Also I am here for anything that even mentions a Christmas Tree Farm! Loved the Aunt and House/Estate Manager!

Falling For Christmas

1.5/5

This was so boring and a story line that I feel like is over used. The acting for me was also subpar. The only thing this had going for it for me was the setting. It definitely gave cozy Christmas vacation vibes.

New Netflix Holiday Movies | Movie Reviews

What is better during the holiday season than all new holiday movies! I am not really a Hallmark person, but Netflix has been killing it lately with releasing Netflix Original movies especially during the holiday season. So I thought it would make a great Blogmas post to binge all of the new holiday movies on Netflix (well at […]
