The Books I Meant to Read in 2020

The Books I Meant to Read in 2020

I am part a mood reader and part of a TBR follower. My nature is to be a planner and that is why I enjoy creating monthly TBRs. But sometimes either to avoid a book slump or just because I will pick up something completely different. When that happens I tried to move the books I didn’t get to in the current month to the next month, but that isn’t always a success either. So I wanted to share all the books I meant to read in 2020 but didn’t get around to last year.

My goal is to try to be more intentional with my monthly TBR planning and trying not to be an overachiever. I am also going to utilize my TBR cart for those books I am really wanting to read so they are front of mind. Some of the following titles are not as intriguing to me anymore, but the others I am hoping to get to in 2021.

Books I Didn’t Read on Monthly TBRs in 2020

A Madness in Sunshine by Nalini Signh

Prison Planet Barbarian by Ruby Dixon

The Grace Year by Kim Liggett

No Place Like Home by Mary Higgins Clark

Heartless by Marissa Meyer

Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury

A Princess of Mars by Edgar Rice Burroughs

It Calls Me by Katie Coughran

Alice by Christina Henry

The Poison Within by Rachel Marie Pearcy

The Lost Coast by A.R. Capetta

Girl of Storm and Shadow by Natasha Ngan

Inkmistress by Audrey Coulthurst

Reverie by Ryan La Sala

Legendborn by Tracy Deonn

Opal by Jennifer L. Armentrout

The Cure for Dreaming by Cat Winters

His Hideous Heart by Various Authors

Mexican Gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia

Our Dark Duet by Victoria Schwab

Storm and Fury by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Silver Borne by Patricia Briggs

Have you read any of these? Which ones should I prioritize? Are there any books you meant to read in 2020 but didn’t?

June 2020 TBR

The majority of the books I selected for my June 2020 TBR are going to be LGBTQ+ Reads as it is Pride Month! I would say that I am only reading queer reads for this month, but I do have some review books to read this month as well that are not queer. But with that being said […]
