Books That Made My Wishlist in 2021

Well it is another week and that means another Top Ten Tuesday post! I tried to not buy as many books this past year, but with that a lot ended up on a wishlist of books I wanted to purchase. So many awesome books have come out this year and I have seen nothing but raving about all of them. Eventually I will get around to acquiring them and reading them, but for now they sit on a list that I stare at for hours! But to not drag it out anymore here are my Books That Made My Wishlist in 2021!

Books That Made My Wishlist in 2021

For the Wolf by Hannah Whitten

I adore any thing that has a take on Little Red Riding Hood. This kind of make me think of that movie Little Red Riding Hood with Amanda Seyfried (like just a little)

Return of the Dragon Slayers by Brandon Mull

I have been eating up this series by Brandon Mull. It is such an action packed tale with lots of magic and mythical creatures. I can’t wait to read this but also a little sad for this series to be over.

Shadow of Light by Molly E. Lee

I flew through the first book in this series. It is a unique paranormal upper YA story with Demons and real life darkness. I cannot wait to get my hands on this one.

The Girls Are Never Gone by Sarah Glenn Marsh

I am in need of more horror books in my life and I am really hoping this one holds up.

Violet Ghosts by Leah Thomas

I will read anything this author writes! I am a little bias because I grew up with Leah, but I also find her stories to be unique and shed light on peoples own uniqueness and magic.

A Lesson in Vengeance by Victoria Lee

Dark Academia vibes, witches and queerness… sign me up! I feel like those are some of my buzz words and that’s all I really need to know.

In the Ravenous Dark by A.M Strickland

First look at this cover! Also I am all for a dark underworld lgbtqia book. There is nothing better than queer magic!

Gilded by Marissa Meyer

I think I will read anything that Marissa Meyer writes. I adore the way she changes and puts her own fun twist on fairytales and retellings.

Little Thieves by Margaret Owen

To be honest I know little about this book, but look at that cover. Aren’t you intrigued?

Hopefully sometime soon in 2022 I can acquire these books and read them, because I am so interested and intrigued by all of them! What are some of the books on your wishlist or that you are hoping to get to read in 2022?
