This week’s topic is Top 5 Series You Want to Start Next Year. I know I just made a TBR Reading Challenge for 2016 and it has on it many series that I want to read this year. Those are series that are completed in publication that I want to read, but for this post I decided to make a list of the top 5 series I want to start that are not completed but that I need to start soon! These are in no particular order.

♦ A Song of Ice and Fire Series by George R.R. Martian

How have I not started this series. I know there is no way I will read this up to publication by the end of 2016, but I want to at least start it! I have even kept myself from watching the show.

♦ Throne of Glass Series by Sarah J. Maas

I read Sarah J. Maas’s A Court of Thorns and Roses this year and fell in love. How have I not started this series yet. Not saying I am a hipster or anything but I had the novellas for this series on my kindle before the series became a big thing on booktube and in the book community. Yet I haven’t read any of it.

♦ Falling Kingdoms Series by Morgan Rhodes

I have no excuses as to why I haven’t started this series. So many people rave about this series and I need to start it this next year.

♦ Mercy Thompson Series by Patricia Briggs

My friend Autumn talks about this series and I feel like it is one I need to read very soon. As well as the companion series Alpha and Omega. This is an urban fantasy and that seems to be the in thing lately so I should jump on that bandwagon.

 ♦ Georgina Kincaid Series by Richelle Mead

I loved Richelle Mead’s Vampire Academy. I want to read everything else she writes. I’m determined to read the Bloodlines series. I want to read this series as well. I’ve heard it is amazing and is an adult paranormal!

♦ Black Dagger Brotherhood Series by J.R Ward

I technically read the first book in this series, but I want to reread it and continue on with the series. It is such a long one and will take me some time. I adore Ward and the Black Dagger Brotherhood world!
