Top Ten Tuesday|Deserted Island

Untitled design-9

This weeks Top Ten Tuesday topic hosted by Broke and Bookish is Top Ten Characters I Would Want With Me On A Deserted Island! The ladies from Broke and Bookish expand on this to say that you can pick based on whatever you like whether it be skills, the company or pure hotness. This was extremely difficult for me to think of because there are so many characters I would love to have with me, but the ten I have picked are a mix of those with skills, those who would be good buddies or entertaining and those that are nice to look at (mainly/pretty much all of them fall into this last category!)

Dimitri Belikov from Vampire Academy Series For pretty obvious reasons (if you have read the Vampire Academy series) Dimitri is both extremely talented in fighting as well as great eye candy! He would be a great protector and thinks logically making him hugely valuable to my deserted island experiences.

Locke Lamora from The Lies of Locke Lamora- Locke is incredibly cunning. He is a con artist/ thief by trade, but is also intelligent and witty. I am all about that banter and feel like on top of being a valuable asset he would provide great entertainment.

Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games Trilogy– How could I not add her to this list. Katniss is such a badass and the things that girl can do with a bow is amazing. I think I would be dumb not to want her on a deserted island with me. I also think we would get along so great because we have similar personalities (to an extent).

♠ Kenji from Shatter Me Trilogy– Not only does he have awesome invisibility powers and military training , but he is funny and would make for a great buddy and even better entertainment. I am all about the sarcasm and banter and love when others can take it and give it right back!

Wolf from Scarlet (Lunar Chronicles) – Being the fact that he is one of the loves of my life (probably the top one right now), makes it a given that I would want him with me on a deserted island. On top of being gorgeous and all around perfect, he is trained to be a killer by the Lunars!

Penryn from Angelfall – Although I wasn’t a huge fan of this book I do believe that Penryn is a kickass heroine. She is determined and will do everything it takes to accomplish her mission. This makes for some good qualities in a person you are stuck on a deserted island with!

Roth from White Hot Kiss– Ummm he is a demon, what else do I need to say. He is super attractive and nice to look at as well as has a snake named Bambi that goes everywhere with him.

Hermione Granger from Harry Potter Series – She is the ultimate best friend. Even when she doesn’t believe something is right she will stick by your side no matter what. It also helps that she is intelligent and always prepared! And she can do magic, duh!

Cole from Branded- So far there has been quite the trend with my list and it continues with Cole. He is some nice eye candy with a hard exterior, but is truly caring and protective. He is also militarily trained and would be a badass assets to have on a deserted island.

Jackie from How We Fall– She is so much like me in interests and can be sassy. I think she would make for a great friend while stuck on a deserted island. We can talk about movies and books and it would be great! (sorry that a lot of you don’t know about any of this because the book isn’t out yet and my review will be posted soon!)

So as you can tell I have a trend of attributes and characteristics that I picked for my list of characters I would want on a deserted island. Now you are probably reading this and thinking why do you need all this military trained attractive men on a “deserted island”? Well the answer to that question is have you ever seen Lost. No island is ever truly deserted at least in my opinion! Also these are all from books I have read recently (for the most part) because I couldn’t think further back.

So who would you choose to be stranded on a deserted island with? What are your reasons for choosing those characters?
