This weeks Top Ten Tuesday topic hosted by Broke and Bookish is Top Ten Favorite Heroines From Books. I am all about the strong, kickass female characters. I can not remember if I have done a post similar to this, but figured I have read a load of new books that it would be different if I already have.

Katniss, Hermione, and Tris all made my list as well.
And I’m so glad to see that Scott Lynch introduces a strong heroine in Red Seas Under Red Skies. I loved Lies of Locke Lamora, but it was definitely a male-dominated story.
I love Alyssa from the Splintered series. I could have easily put her on my list too! Great choices. 🙂
I love Alanna and all heroine’s from Tamora Pierce’s Novels!
I put Hermione on my list as well! I feel like she’s the heroine that has had the most impact on me in literature, especially because I started reading the Harry Potter series so young. Her strength and independence really stuck with me, and I think it’s so amazing that J.K. Rowling was able to create such an influential character. Anyways, great list! 🙂
Someone else mentioned Tally, and I can’t believe I forgot her! GREAT choice!
My TTT!
