When in comes to the book world, there are so many representation of a Fierce Females, some are warriors, royalty, intelligent, heros, but there are always those charactistics that make you think and relate them to the term “Fierce Female”

According to Ready Publication ” Being fierce means standing your ground when the going gets tough. A woman who is fierce is always looking to better herself and the world around her.”

I have gathered some information from others in the book community on what they believe defines a individual as a Fierce Female

Someone who is confident, self-aware and is an overall badass but still has their morals and ethics in place. Someone that stands up for their beliefs, that does the right thing no matter the cost, someone that isn't easily pushed around. Strong and brave, courageous and kind, loyal and strong.
A fierce female is a multifaceted woman who works to empower herself and empower others. She isn’t afraid to acknowledge her fear, her doubts and her insecurities; but she tries so hard to be brave and courageous. She works hard and is unflinching in the belief of her personal values. Although she may tremble in the face of her fear, she will do so with her head held high, ready to tackle the situation. The Fierce Female is within all of us. She basically slays everyday and takes names.
Someone who is strong but still is not afraid to show emotions or be vulnerable. They can be both a fighter and emotional and soft.
A fierce female is a character who doesn't let the expectations of society, or other people, weigh her down. She fights to win her own place in the world.
A fierce female is a woman who doesn’t take crap from anyone. She stands up for herself and others who can’t or won’t. She will do things for the greater good. She doesn’t ask what do we do now, she just does it. She is strong, independent but a team player, is a good listener, fights for what’s right and doesn’t give up. She is not a damsel in distress she’s the knight in shining armour.
A fierce female is a badass. Someone you look up to with no question. Smart. Strong. Brave. Compassionate.
A fierce female is a woman who knows what she wants and will let nothing stand in her way.
Being a Fierce Female means being a strong role model for others, while living your life exactly as you want it to be, without worrying about opinions from others.
Someone who stands up for who they are and what they believe in no matter what.
A fierce female is someone who can stand up to what she believes even though others thinks otherwise. She is someone who knows herself most and is brave enough to be what she wants.
A fierce female is one who does the best for herself and her family, with the choices available to her in the society she lives in. She is confident, proud and gives her opinion.
I think when most people think of a “fierce female” that they usually have to be a fighter or the chosen one to save their kingdom etc and don’t get me wrong, I love a female character who can fight but I wish this wouldn’t devalue other fierce females like Kady from Illuminae who is smart, sassy and a brilliant quick thinker, Starr Carter from The Hate You Give who is incredibly brave and determined to stand up for the truth and what she believes in, Hermione Granger, Elizabeth Bennet, Romy Silvers and Tessa Grey, these are just some of my all time favourite people fierce females.

    1. What a lovely post… To add to this beautiful piece, I’ll say a ‘fierce female’ is one whose confidence is in the Lord Jesus and also the virtue woman (proverbs 31)
