5 Reasons to Read the Selection Trilogy by Kiera Cass

5 Reasons to Read the Selection Trilogy by Kiera Cass

Now I know what you are thinking. “This is a series not a trilogy!” I understand that and totally get it, but I decided to not continue after book 3. I was good with where book 3 ended and didn’t feel like it was important or felt drawn to read the last two books. I am not a huge fan when a series ends and later continues and has a different narrator/main character.

With that being said, I was shockingly surprised with how much I enjoyed these books. I was convinced by one of my really good friends, which these are her favorite books, to read these! I flew through them in record time. Now I am going to give you 5 Reasons to Read the Selection Trilogy by Kiera Cass!

Synopsis

For thirty-five girls, the Selection is the chance of a lifetime. The opportunity to escape the life laid out for them since birth. To be swept up in a world of glittering gowns and priceless jewels. To live in a palace and compete for the heart of gorgeous Prince Maxon.

But for America Singer, being Selected is a nightmare. It means turning her back on her secret love with Aspen, who is a caste below her. Leaving her home to enter a fierce competition for a crown she doesn’t want. Living in a palace that is constantly threatened by violent rebel attacks.

Then America meets Prince Maxon. Gradually, she starts to question all the plans she’s made for herself—and realizes that the life she’s always dreamed of may not compare to a future she never imagined
