So I wasn’t able to stay up and last the whole 24hrs, but I am still very proud of how much I accomplished. With my struggles with focus and distraction in daily life I did not think I would be able to read as much as I did. I finished a total of 603 pages, which was 2 books, a novella and a short story! This was a great experience and I loved spending the whole day reading! I wish I would have participated in more challenges or checked out some more blogs. I will definitely love to participate in the next one!
Book(s) Finished:
♠ The Line by J.D. Horn
♠ Sanctum by Madeleine Roux
The Scarlets by Madeleine Roux
The Fall of the House of Usher by Edgar Allen Poe
Pages Read : 603 pages
GOALS
Wake up early (since for me it starts at 8am and spend as much time as I can reading. I have a hard time staying focused . I spend a lot of time on my computer and phone that wastes valuable reading time.)- I did not wake up as early as I was planning, but I still got a good start on the day. I also struggled some with focus but i have a short attention span and cant help it.
Finish at least one book or 400 pages. CHECK!
Post some updates via twitter. CHECK! I even was able to post updates on my blog!
If you participated I would love to hear how you did and what you read!

  1. You did great! I only ended up reading one book, A Little Something Different by Sandy Hall, but it was my first readathon so I’m okay with that. I’m pretty sure I spent more time on Twitter than anything else! And I had a blast doing the mini-challenges 🙂

    1. That is still really great. If you think about it how often are you really able to spend time and read a whole book in one day! I usually do not have that kind of time. I wish I would have done more mini challenges.
