Dusting Off the Shelf Read-a-thon | Mid-Way Update

dusting-off-the-shelf-read-a-thon-graphic1

I can’t believe how much reading I have been getting done. As I thought, my reading slowed down a little the past few days. Reality set in and I had places to be and things to do. I would say that I feel like I am slowly starting to make a dent in my TBR pile, but that would be a lie because I have a book buying problem. Anyways I have completed 4 books so far for the Dusting off the Shelf Read-a-thon and I am almost done with the 5th! I definitely gave up on the challenges because I found that if I just pick up whatever I feel like reading I have been making more progress (and yes they are all still books I have had on my shelves forever!) Although I am cheating a little and including some books that I am reading for review and such. If you would like to see my last update you can go here! Also to see a more daily update you can follow me on twitter @downthebookhole or on goodreads! The only downfall to reading so much and spending all my time reading is that I have so many reviews to do now and I don’t want to take up my free time doing them over reading 🙁 , but I am going to try to get some of those up very soon! Happy Reading and good luck if you are participating in this read-a-thon!

  1. Wow you’re a reading machine! I sadly haven’t had much time to read so I’ve only just finished my second book. I’m straying from my TBR and challenges starting now since some of the books I chose I’m not in the mood for…

    1. Haha it just because I have done nothing but read. I know that feeling. I had to stray from mine because I just sat at stared at the books I had on my TBR and just could not do it. But 2 is still really good for a weeks time!

  2. I’m still playing catch up with the reviews for books I read while at the beach, I feel your pain, haha! I dubbed August a no-buying-books month, so that I could clear a few from the shelves. Might make September that way as well, since there aren’t any HAVE-TO-HAVE-NOW books coming out. We’ll see!
