It is amazing how many book have been adapted to the big screen. As an avid reader I find that I struggle with going to see a movie when I know it is based off the book. Although there are sometimes when I let it slide for the most part I am pretty strict about it. ( Someone bought me the Water For Elephants dvd and I still haven’t watched it because I own the book and haven’t read it yet) So I have made a list of some of my favorites from the ones in which I have read the books and watched the movies! These are the ones in which I believe were done really well and I greatly enjoyed (I know at least one a lot of people hated and there were parts of the movie I thought were silly, but for the most part I really thought it captured the book wonderfully!)

I’m curious about you liking the Vampire Academy film. I tried watching it and turned it off after about 30 minutes =/

Goblet is also one of my very favorites. I also like half blood prince too
Mine include The Princess Bride, The Lord of the Rings movies, and Salmon Fishing in the Yemen.
I was actually pleasantly surprised at the VA film!
