reindeer readathon 2022 reading update #2

The Reindeer Readathon, a December long readathon, is here and I wanted to give a Reindeer Readathon 2022 reading update #2 since we are over half way through! If you still don’t know what this readathon is all about check out my announcement post! I also recently shared some book recommendations for the prompts provided by the host of the readathon. I’m happy to say I am on Team Mistletoe I have slightly went off my readathon TBR I created, which is no surprise to me.

Books Read

DASHER: Finish a series or pick up a book that you started and put down. If neither of these are options, a short story/novella (15)

DANCER: A book with a cursive/flowy/elegant font on the cover (10)

Meet Me in Los Feliz by Kelly Reynolds (Christmas Lights)

PRANCER – A book with your favorite season on the cover or the book cover has colors from your favorite season on it (20)

VIXEN: A book you want to read but think it might be overhyped (15)

Tangled in Tinsel by Trilina Pucci

COMET – A book with an astronomical word in the title (sun, moon, star, sky etc.) (25)

Star of David by Patricia Briggs

CUPID: A book with a favorite trope in it (15)

The Shadows Between Us by Tricia Levenseller (Christmas Carols)

DONNER: A book that you want to read but are not a fan of the cover (20)

BLITZEN: Use a random number generator to find a number between 0 and 9 and find a book that ends in that page number (20)

Tied Up In Tinsel by Ember Davis

I rolled a 8 and had planned for a different book, but mood reading strikes. So found a different one that ends in 8!

RUDOLPH – Start a new series (15)

11 Hours by Octavia Jensen

POINTS: 135 (85 + 35 bonus)

I would love to know if you are planning on participating, what is your Reindeer Readathon TBR? Do you have any recommendations for these prompts!
