Reindeer Readathon 2022 TBR

Reindeer Readathon 2022 TBR

The Reindeer Readathon, a December long readathon, is quickly approaching! If you still don’t know what this readathon is all about check out my announcement post! I also recently shared some book recommendations for the prompts provided by the host of the readathon. I’m happy to say I am on Team Mistletoe ! I was trying to wait as long as I could before December and the start of this readathon before publishing this TBR because I have been a bunch lately and don’t want to start something on my TBR early. I am hoping to get tons of reading done in December. I hope you are going to be joining in and continue to see my Reindeer Readathon 2022 TBR!

Books To Read

DASHER: Finish a series or pick up a book that you started and put down. If neither of these are options, a short story/novella

Return of the Dragon Slayers by Brandon Mull

This is the last book in the Dragonwatch series and I have been putting off finishing this one

DANCER: A book with a cursive/flowy/elegant font on the cover

Meet Me in Los Feliz by Kelly Reynolds

I am so excited to read this, it is a plus size FMC with a short king MMC!

PRANCER – A book with your favorite season on the cover or the book cover has colors from your favorite season on it

Alice by Christina Henry

If you were not aware I adore Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. So with my favorite season being Autumn, I knew this cover would fit the prompt perfectly! Also I have been loving Christina Henry’s books the dark twist on classic fairytales/lore is so good!

VIXEN: A book you want to read but think it might be overhyped

Belladonna by Adalyn Grace

I asked the internet and this is one that was shared as being overhyped… so we will see if I think this is really overhyped

COMET – A book with an astronomical word in the title (sun, moon, star, sky etc.)

Star of David by Patricia Briggs

This is a technically a novella, but I want to read it as I have been making my way through the Mercyverse and this is one that falls between some of the books I have read already.

CUPID: A book with a favorite trope in it

The Shadows Between Us by Tricia Levenseller

My favorite trope is enemies to lovers and have heard this is a good one that has that trope in it! Plus it is a standalone, I don’t need to be starting anymore series before I finish the ones I am in the middle of already.

DONNER: A book that you want to read but are not a fan of the cover

Lover Enshrined by J.R Ward

This series book covers are not my fav. a little boring for me. But I do love that they are all different colors (at least at the beginning of the series)

BLITZEN: Use a random number generator to find a number between 0 and 9 and find a book that ends in that page number

The Thief Who Pulled on Trouble’s Braid by Michael McClung

The number I rolled was 8 and according to Goodreads this has 208 pages!

RUDOLPH – Start a new series

11 hours by Octavia Jensen

I have been in such a mood for smut lately and have heard great things about this recently so I want to give it a try!

I would love to know if you are planning on participating, what is your Reindeer Readathon 2022 TBR? Do you have any recommendations for these prompts!
