Rowan McAuliffe has been hiding most of her life. Secretly trained in her powers by an unusual source, she’d been taught not to trust anyone. Especially other witches. However, after she was forced to perform a hateful act against her will, she now hides from the Covens Syndicate and their judgement.

Greyson Masters is the Syndicate’s best hunter. On top of the danger of his job, Greyson is trying to raise his triplet daughters alone, budding new witches who display an alarming combined power no one understands. Too bad he doesn’t have a clue how to deal with them.

Until Rowan walks in and the chaos settles for the first time in… well, ever.

Little does Greyson realize that his new nanny is the very witch he is hunting, and she’s been hiding right under his nose this whole time.

” After being raised by a demon, intimidating stares did little to sway her.”

Slow burn nanny/single dad romance with a lots of magic, messes and family love!

This one was definitely my favorite in the Brimestone INC series. I thought them both fighting against their feelings, but how they kept getting pushed toward each other was just so great! The family aspect was my favorite in this story. I loved Rowan’s interactions with the girls and seeing that relationship develop. The mystery around the young triplets was really intriguing and when everything came together at the end I never saw it happening.

The magic was a really fun addition. I loved learning more about Rowan’s magical abilities and the funny mishaps that happen as she tries to hide what she can do. Being able to get more of the story from Rowan about what happened from her perspective in the events of the first book was interesting.

” She was going to enjoy thwarting this arrogant warlock at his own game.”

Overall I thought this was such an adorable story. I do wish we could have had more from the relationship and how things are after everything that happened. With that being said, one of the things I liked the most about this was how it was more than just the sexy time. I was living for Rowan and Greyson’s interactions and that we got to see it from both of their perspectives. This story was so much more than a romance, but about a family and the backstory to each of their lives and heartbreak. Of course we also got some action and to see some of the characters from the previous stories! I have to say the young girls were my favorite! So sassy and everything you want in a young witch!
