Game of Thrones |Book Tag

With the new season I thought this seemed to be a very appropriate book tag to do! I have so many thoughts and theories on the new season and I am both excited and sad. I cannot believe it is already the last season, but it probably means I should read the books soon.

I saw this tag on The Bookish Chick‘s blog. And it looks like it was originally created by Biblio Nyan ! Check out both of their blogs and I would love to see your answers in this tag!

HOUSE LANNISTER: HEAR ME ROAR

Name a book that you originally loved, but upon a re-read realised that it wasn’t so great after all.

I honestly do not have an answer for this one. I do not reread much and when I do it ones that I know I will absolutely love and adore all over again.

HOUSE STARK: WINTER IS COMING

Name your most anticipated book release for 2019.

I have quite a few very anticipated releases. The Raven’s Tale by Cat Winters was definitely one and I have an earc and about halfway through it. Then there is Find Me Their Bones by Sara Wolf which does not yet have a cover, but I am dying to read it. And then there is Master of the Phantom Isle by Brandon Mull which is the 3rd book in the Dragonwatch series. I just happened to finish book 2 and that ending.

HOUSE TARGARYEN: FIRE AND BLOOD

Name a book that you felt completely slayed with fantastic characters, plot, pacing, etc.

This was hard to choose just one. There have been quite a few books that I thought were amazing and slayed! One that was read this year was Stain by A.G Howard.

HOUSE BARATHEON: OURS IS THE FURY

Name a book that ended with a cliffhanger ending that genuinely pissed you off.

I do not know if I would say pissed me off is the right term to use. I have never been pissed, but more upset and angry that I have to wait for the next book. That would be Wrath of the Dragon King by Brandon Mull which I just recently finished.

HOUSE MARTELL: UNBOWED. UNBENT. UNBROKEN.

Name a book, or book series, that’s been on your TBR since the dawn of time.

I recently did a post about unread trilogies and most of those books have been on my TBR for at least 5+ years. I think the book that has been on my TBR the longest is Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy.

HOUSE BOLTON: OUR BLADES ARE SHARP

Name the most graphic or disturbing book that you’ve ever read.

This was one I was unable to finish, but I could read no more because it was too much for me. Haunted by Chuck Palahnuik

HOUSE TYRELL: GROWING STRONG

Name a book, or book series, that gets better and better with every re-read.

This is another hard one because I do not reread a lot. I guess I would have to say a recent reread would be the Uglies Series by Scott Westerfeld. I forgot how much I adored this series!

I tag everyone and would love to see your answers or hear your theories about the new season!
