The “They Were So Cheap I Couldn’t Help It” Haul

So I have been so busy with school finishing up that I keep forgetting to post this. This is the rest of the books that I purchased in April. Overall I got 28 books this month! (A lot were e-Arcs and e-books that I got for free as well as 2 books I received for review.) So here we go!

The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson

(First off lets talk about how beautiful the UK cover is of this book! I have really been in the mood for some high fantasy books and have heard so many people rave about Brandon Sanderson. Also when I found this edition at half Price Books for 5.99 I just had to get it. It is a great chunk of a book and very intimidating. But I really can’t wait to read it. I also really want to get the Misborn trilogy by Brandon Sanderson and start reading that as well so it will probably be hauled very soon!)

The Luxe Series by  Anna Godbersen                                                                                        ( Luxe [not pictured], Rumor [not pictured],                                                                                            Envy, Splendor)

(This series looked really interesting to me. I used to really be into historical fiction and have found that lately I haven’t been reading it as much. I found all of these books (in hardback) for around $3 on thriftbooks.com. How could I not purchase them! )

Until I found You by Victoria Bylin

( I got this book sent to me for review by Bethany House. I don’t ever remember signing up or anything like that for this book, but hey a free book in return for an honest review. I am not really sure what it is about, but it is a romance book so we will see. )

Rebel Angels and The Sweet Far Thing by Libba Bray

(I also found these on thrift books in hardback for $3 a piece. I recently got A Great and Terrible Beauty and got these to finish off the series so that I can marathon them. I am just kind of made that my copy of A Great Terrible Beauty is in paperback, but you can’t pass up on those prices. I am really excited to get to these books (although they are chunky). They seem so interesting and I have heard a lot of things about them!)

Now for all the e-Arcs and e-books I received (from netgalley) since my last haul.

Don’t Look Back by Jennifer L. Armentrout

(This is actually already out! It is suppose to be a mystery novel about this girl who doesn’t remember what happened to her and a friend. I have only heard amazing reviews on this book and have lately been in a J. Lynn kick!)

Adaptation by Malinda Lo

(This was recommended to me after I went on my rant about aliens!  I am really excited to read a book dealing with aliens!)

Half a King by Joe Abercrombie

(This is an e-Arc I received from netgalley. It is sent to be released July 15th! This follows my whole fantasy kick I have been feeling. Its about a prince trying to regain his throne.)

Hexed by Michelle Krys

(This is an e-Arc as well from netgalley. It is set to release June 10th. It is said to be The Craft meets Bring It On. How could you not want to read something like this! )

I am the Weapon by Allen Zadoff

(This is an e-Arc from netgalley coming out May 13th. It is about assassins! I love assassins! )

Not pictured : White Hot Kiss by Jennifer L. Armentrout and Daughter of Smoke and Bones by Laini Tayor . ( I am just feeling too lazy right now and don’t want to go downstairs to find them.)

That is it I believe! Let me know if you have read any of these and your thoughts!
