Top 5 Romance Reads 2022

I started doing this a couple of years ago to really showcase the top books I read of the year. This is the first year I will be dedicating a Top 5 to romance books. In years past they have been included in Adult releases. If you missed it, check out the books that made my Top 5 Adult Releases 2021. It makes more sense to split it out by backlist books and new releases and this year with the romances since I have read and loved so many books! But here are the Top 5 Romance Reads 2022!

In no particular order…

Top 5 Romance Reads 2022

The Cursed King by Abigail Owen

He will burn. She will rise

The conclusion to the Inferno Rising series! Following the last of the Amon sisters finding herself and her place in the fight. Filled with Dragon politics, some steamy scenes and kickass females!

Delilah Green Doesn't Care by Ashley Herring Blake

“She’d spent years perfecting the art of avoidance, of protection, of never letting Astrid see how much Delilah was hurting. If eyes were the window into the soul, Delilah’s had long been shuttered.”

A sweet sapphic romance taking place in a small town. Delilah comes home for her step sisters wedding and runs into someone from her past. I was living for their chemistry as well as all the side characters! It had some amazing friendship relationships as well as great character development!

In The Weeds by B.K Borison

“I know you came back here because you were looking for your happy. But Evie, you gave me mine while you were looking for yours and I think it’s only fair if I try to return the favor.”

This was the perfect mix of Grumpy Sunshine for me! Beckett is now one of my all time favorite fictional men! Being a farmer working on a Christmas Tree farm, taking care of kittens and a ducks as well as the things he does to take care of everyone else! This small town romance is such a captivating read with the perfect cast of side characters and sweet moments between the main characters!

Meet Me In Los Feliz by Kelly D Reynolds

“I’d never met a man who could make me moan like a slice of cake.”

This was such a surprising read! I had never heard of it before I came across it on KU. It has a plus sized heroine and a “soft dom” short king. I loved how the story took place starting on Thanksgiving and through the holiday, building there relationship and interactions. The side characters also made such a nice addition. Such a sweet and spicy romance!

Tangled In Tinsel by Trilina Pucci

“Three glasses of wine, and I’m all for an orgy. I’m such a lightweight. A disgrace. I’m sorry .008 percent Irish ancestry, I’ve let you down.”

If you haven’t read this one what are you waiting for. I usually have a hard time picking a favorite but this might be it. I loved it so much I am buying a physical copy so I can reread it. This was so spicy as well as had some great humor and character interactions. Imagine being snowed in during the holidays with four sexy men who all want you and fulfill your fantasies! The four men each had such unique personalities from each other and I loved each of them as well!
