This weeks Top Ten Tuesday topic hosted by Broke and Bookish is Classics and I chose to do the Top Ten Classics I Want To Read (mainly for the fact that I don’t think I have read enough to do the top ten favorites). I have a long list of classics that are on my TBR list and I am currently (and by currently, I mean the last two years) working my way through Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy. But I have narrowed down my list and made it (in no specific order) the top ten I want to read the most!
1.
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
2.
Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte
3.
Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
4.
1984 by George Orwell
5.
Lord of The Rings by J.R.R Tolkien
6.
There Eyes Where Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston
7.
The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath
8.
The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes by Arthur Conan Doyle
9.
Walden by Henry David Thoreau
10.
Les Miserables by Victor Hugo
What are the top classics you have read or want to read?

Im sure you know by now I am hosting a pride and prejudice readalong in August. You should consider joining in! =)
I most definitely will!
😀 yay!
Jane Eyre and 1984 are both SO good! I haven’t read many of the others on your list but I’d definitely recommend those two. 🙂
I will definitely move them up on my list and try to get to them soon! Thanks for the rec 🙂
Wuthering Heights is on my list, too. The short story style collections of Sherlock Holmes are a good place to start.
I love Pride & Prejudice! Jane Eyre made my list of Classics I want to read as well!
Check out my TTT!
