This weeks Top Ten Tuesday topic hosted by Broke and Bookish is Top Ten New-To-Me Authors I Read For The First Time In 2016. I haven’t read many books this year, therefore this list is kind of short.
♦ Victoria Schwab
I owe a few of her books but I have yet to read any others besides This Savage Song. I absolutely adored this book and loved Schwab’s writing. I am loving forward to reading more by her soon!
♥ Kaled Hosseini
I do not even know where to begin with this man. His book was brilliant, beautiful and emotional. I read Kite Runner and could not control my emotions. There is such a personal touch to the writing. I am making it my mission to read the rest of his published work in 2017.
♦ Brandon Sanderson
This man is a writing phenomenon and a god of fantasy writing. This is another author I have heard nothing but amazing things about. I also want to work on reading all of his published works. There are so many and he puts out at least 1 a year!

Kite Runner is such a great book! 🙂 I’m glad you got to discover these writers this year.
I read A Thousand Splendid Suns when it first came out and loved it. I have to agree Kaled Hosseini is a fantastic writer and should really read more by him.
I read VE Schwab for the first time this year too! Not This Savage Song though, the Shades of Magic books. I really want to read This Savage Song though!
