5 Star Predictions

I try as hard as I can to do things to motivate myself. I did a 5 star prediction last year and have yet to complete all those books, but I am really trying to make an effort this year. So this is me putting it out there in the world so that I can only blame myself if I don’t get around to reading these. I have really been wanting to read more fantasy this year so I thought it would be fun to do a 5 Star Predictions Adult Fantasy Edition!

Blood Song by Anthony Ryan

This is a book I have had sitting on my TBR shelf for so long! A fantasy with a school setting is what grabbed my attention. I have not heard much about this but what I have people seem to like it. The cover alone had my interest and can’t wait to dive in!

The Fifth Season by N.K Jemisin

This is another one of those fantasy books that has been making its way around the bookish community on the internet. From what I have heard about it, I definitely think I am going to love it! Its won some awards and gets high praise so I will be upset if it isn’t a 5 star read for me.

Uprooted by Naomi Novik

I have had this book on my shelves for awhile because of all the talk of it on the internet. It seems like so many of my friends on Goodreads were not a fan of this, but I think it is so something I would enjoy. I think its going to be a dark fairytale that will check all my boxes!

The True Bastards by Jonathan French

I recently read the first book in this series and I am obsessed! The world and the characters were beyond fantastic! This one is focused on my favorite character from the first book, so I know I am going to love it! Eventually I will get around to writing a review for the first book so you all can be convinced to read it and love it too!

The Sword of Kaigen by M.L Wang

This is one of the winners of SPFBO and it is my goal to read through those books this year. I have heard so many people talking about this one and have seen that I should be prepared for some emotions. I have been so excited for this one I had to buy it!
