I first did this a few years ago as there were so many options on KU and couldn’t resist on a weekend of flying through some different holiday romances. You can check out my Short Holiday Romance Reads from last year.

I will say this year I went a little spicer, but tried to include some sweet rom coms. There are also a variety of different romances included from super spicy to sweet and wholesome! These are all under 200 pages and many are available on kindle unlimited!

2022 Short Holiday Romance Recommendations

Meet Me In Los Feliz by Kelly D. Reynolds

I have so many feels about this holiday novella. I loved seeing all the representation and way the story was told so it didn’t feel insta lovey, but a relationship was actually developed. It was also super spicy while being funny and sweet as well!

Tied Up In Tinsel by Ember Davis

This wasn’t the best book I’ve ever read. It started off with some off page relationship development that I was hopeful about, but it went so fast. I loved the possessiveness of Sterling and he is so spicy! This had some fun family elements although only for a short cameo.

Basic Instinct by Poppy Flynn

This was too spicy for its own good! Super short read that doesn’t have a lot to do with the holiday other than the setting is a company Christmas party. It had me blushing enough to ignore the fact that it was soooo insta love.

Ivy and the Ghost of Christmas Past by Kali Hart

This is another one that was just okay for me. I feel like if it was longer it could have done a little more to add to the overall story. I did appreciate the off page relationship development and their interactions together. Always here for a grumpy sunshine read! It also had some humor with the FMC talking to a Grandma Annie in her head. Loved the setting of Alaska, but I wish we got more of the cold wilderness vibes.

Unwrapped by K.M Mixon

I have lots of feelings about this one. It is a why choose romance that was super steamy! The spicy moments were hot and everything especially since they were all together. But the writing was a little rough and choppy. The author missed some opportunities to build the relationship off page and it all happened kind of fast. Also I found the ending dumb, but the spice made up for some of that.

From Cocktails to Sleigh Bells by Wren K. Morris

This was a unique take on Santa! Cole is quite spunky and has such a dirty mouth. Santa is hot and his delivery team is hot men nicknamed after the reindeer. I laughed out loud at the dirty Christmas talk! It was a little steamy, but I could have taken so much more than just the eggnog flavored.

Have you read any short holiday romance reads lately? Have you read any of these? Do you have any 2022 Short Holiday Romance Recommendations?
