Short Holiday Romance Reads | Blogmas 2021

If you are anything like me, the last month of the year you are trying to get tons of reading in! For me this usually means dipping into those novellas and short story anthologies! I’m not going to claim by any means to be an expert in the short holiday romance reads. I first did this last year as there were so many options on KU and couldn’t resist on a weekend of flying through some different holiday romances. You can check out my Short Holiday Romance Reads from last year.

I will say this year I went a little spicer, but tried to include some sweet rom coms. There are also a variety of different romances included from super spicy to sweet and wholesome! These are all under 200 pages and many are available on kindle unlimited!

Holiday Romance Recommendations

Paddled by Krampus by Harley Laroux

No better way to get you in the holiday spirit than with a visit from Krampus for being naughty! I will never look at Christmas trees the same way. This is a super short, steamy monster romance with major kink!

The Firefighters Secret Santa by Kali Hart

This was a short and sweet brother’s best friend read. I appreciated that there was a story line behind their relationship so it wasn’t so insta lovey, but the secret Santa element kind of went to the wayside.

Krampus and the Crone by Honey Phillips

So this wasn’t really a holiday romance. It makes mention of it at the end and talks about the lore of Krampus. But regardless of that it takes place in the winter months and features a large alien! There was some humor, especially from the young whit. It was a cute short story with a tad bit of spice.

Dasher Claws by Sable Sylvan

This was a cute story, but not without a few faults. I loved the set up and the setting of Wreath, Montana. Who doesn’t love a bad boy werebear! Krampus and Avery were such great side characters with such big personalities and I can’t wait to get to their story. There were so many shifters and so fitting to have a reform program to be a reindeer shifter to pull “Santa’s” sleigh.

The Grump Who Stole Christmas by S. Doyle

I am obsessed! I am not usually a fan of sweet contemporary romance, but this was everything I could want from a christmas romance. It was like reading a Hallmark movie! The banter and teasing between the two and the build up was so perfect! Paul was everything I need and want in life! The setting was too great and makes me wish I was in a cabin in the mountains. This is a must read this holiday season for those who love cute holiday romances!

Have you read any short holiday romance reads lately? Have you read any of these?
