24 Hour Christmas Eve Read-A-Thon

I decided that since I am on my own this holiday weekend and have nothing else to do it would be a perfect time to get in all that end of the year reading. And what better way to bring in Christmas Day than with a 24 hour readathon? 24 hours on the 24th! So join me and read as much or as little as you want, holiday inspired or not. Try to reach those end of year reading goals and find would could possibly be your favorite read of 2017!

The reading is to start at 12:01am 12/24 and ends at 12:01am 12/25! Follow the #xmaseveread and join in on the conversation and fun!

These books are not set in stone because it all depends on what I complete today (12/23), but these are the books I am planning on getting to hopefully!

∴ Seven Days of Us by Francesca Hornak

∴ I Could Pee On This : And Other Poems by Cats by Francesco Marciuliano

∴ Help Me Follow My Sister Into the Land of the Dead by Carmen Maria Machado

∴ The Bear and the Nightingale by Katherine Arden

Let me know if you are going to participate and what you will be reading and link up below  if you create a post!

Day 1: Monday August 21, 2017

Book(s) Read Today:

Black Bird of the Gallows by Meg Kassel

Pages Read: 50  pages

“But really, aren’t there bits of magic everywhere we look?’ Dr. Clifton continues. ‘We’ve just stopped seeing it that way.”
Emily Bain Murphy, The Disappearances

Challenge: Synopsis Rewrite

For this challenge, all you have to do is rewrite the synopsis of a book from another character’s point of view. Make it their story instead. If you post on social media, be sure to use #synopsisrewritebob20 to share.

Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland

Today of all days the White Rabbit did not have the time for silly little girls. He only had one errand to run, not get chased by a young girl, or have a spot of tea. With his pocket watch destroyed he has no sense of time. Being late today would have his head.

I am not good at this at all, but would love to see others!
