Romanceopoly | 2020 Reading Challenge

I first heard about this challenge from the booktuber Jess from PeaceLoveBooks. Romance has never been a big genre for me, I sometimes find it so corny and just over the top. In the past year I have really changed how much romance I read. I did not complete all the challenges for Romanceopoly, but I want to make a serious effort in 2020. You can check out my progress from last year here.

You can click on the graphic to find out all about the rules and how to sign up. This is based off the game Monopoly and the creators have even taken the time to develop a printable game board and other really cool things for this year long challenge. “Each neighborhood in Romanceopolis offers up a new genre to explore and each street has a unique challenge within that genre. Although, some neighborhoods are a little more diverse and offer a melting pot of different genres to delve into.”

They also have a variety of ways in which you can play the game, with different levels of participation. I think I am going to go with the scenic route, which will be rolling the dice to determine where you go. They also changed things a little this year. You can pick from 2 different challenge packs, either the Sun or the Moon. I am going to go with the Moon Pack.

They have book reccomendation for each challenge and square on the board that you can check out here!
