Before I start talking about what the Best Friend Book Recommendation challenge for 2020 is all about, I should mention she is probably going to kill me for this graphic! I am lucky enough to have a best friend who loves books and reading! We tend to read different books and I thought it would be fun to have her recommend me some books to read this year.
Sometimes I get so frustrated with how over hyped books become in the book community and find it hard sometimes to discover some amazing hidden gems. Especially when it comes to backlist reads. I want to work on books I am interested in and not feeling to pressure of the book community. One step to that would be broadening my horizons and stepping outside my comfort zone. So I asked my best friend, Kitten (not her given name, but its what I call her) to make me a list of 6 books that I would read during 2020!
She of course gave me more than 6 and has promised more recs! I look forward to exploring some books that my best friend loves!
