Warning: This is not really a review its more just my thought on the book (sorry that just what its going to be )
I am moving on with this marathon read of the Vampire Academy Series even though this book did take considerable more time than the others. This is part due to I have been extremely busy and part in I believe this is my least favorite book in the series. Overall I am still very much in love with the series and can’t believe I have only one book to go. I just had some issues with this book and was a little disappointed because I highly enjoyed all of the other ones so far and feel like Richelle Mead could have done a couple things to have made this not an issue.
For the most part I thought the book dragged on and jumped all over the place. There were some awesome things and events that took place that I was so happy that actually happened! (I am so team Dimitri!!! But I am starting to fall in love with Adrian even more) I love the reappearance of characters that I wasn’t sure would come back. Another big problem for me was some unanswered questions. Besides Rose there is not much talk about the newly graduated dhampirs, what were they doing? When are they suppose to get their assignments.
But OMG the last 40 pages saved this book for me. Literally there is so much action, fights and surprises that it kept me on my toes the whole time and I wasn’t sure where it was going and what was going to happen.
(Sorry this post is shambly and all over the place (much like the book) It was more of just my thoughts than a full review. But with that being said, I have one last book until I finish the Vampire Academy Series. 16 days and counting!!!)
