Ten Lords A Leaping | Blogmas 2020

Ten Lords A Leaping

I ‘ve been doing this tag over the last few years and figured might as well keep the tradition alive and complete the Ten Lords A Leaping for Blogmas 2020!

I originally saw this tag posted over on Book Hooked Nook where Sarah created this Christmas Book Tag! Check out my post from last year Ten Lords a Leaping Book Tag 2019 . I am going to base this book tag off all books I read in 2020!

Stocking- A Book That Is Full Of Surprises

As I was reading Deal With the Devil by Kit Rocha, I was continually surprised with all that was packed into this read. It was so unexpected and I was blown away. There was the post apocalyptic world setting, sci-fi elements, a gang journey/quest, characters full of personality and a romance!

Mistletoe- Your Favorite Book Full Of Cute Kisses

You Should See Me In A Crown

I can’t remember if this had a ton of kisses, but definitely had kisses and was absolutely adorable. After the year we had, You Should See Me In A Crown by Leah Johnson was the fun, cute and sapphic much needed read!

Snowman- A Book That Leaves An Icy Chill

So when I think icy chill its more of those chills you get from the horror/creep. As someone who lives alone, reading Home Before Dark by Riley Sager about a haunted house was for sure creepy and gave me all the spine chills.

Turkey- A Book With All The Yummy Food

Not only was The Daring of Della Dupree by Natasha Lowe precious and full of lessons, it also had some yummy food with recipes included at the end! I cannot wait to get to the other books in this world and I am sure that there will be more yummies to come!

Cracker- A Book That Ends With A Bang!

The ending of this book, I never saw it coming. Crave by Tracy Wolff almost literally ended with a bang! A for sure cliffhanger that makes you want to immediately pick up the sequel!

Decorations- A Book With A Magical Setting Or Scenery

Out of all the books I read this year the world/setting in The Winter Duke by Claire Eliza Bartlett was one of the most unique. I wanted so much more of it, but the kingdom being all set in ice/snow with a world under the ice was awesome!

Sprouts- A Book That You Loathe

The Snuggle is Real by Frankie Love novella made me so mad. The way it started out had me hopeful for it being something cute. I cant believe he just acted like the whole situation was nothing out of the normal. Like it just seemed so unreal.

Santa- A Book That Keeps On Giving

The House in the Cerulean Sea by T.J. Klune is a book I haven’t been able to stop thinking about. I don’t know if I can say it keeps on giving, but it keeps on giving me all the feels and wanting more!

Boxing Day- A Book That You Were Sad Was Over

I was so happy we were getting another book in this series featuring Jack and Jill! Come Tumbling Down by Seanan McGuire was one of my favorite in the series so far! It just had so many great elements and I’m so happy we got more of the world beyond their door! All of the rep was so great and I was just wanting it to not end.

Shining Star- Your Favorite Book Of The Year!

This will be coming out in a post soon!

I would love to know what some of your answers are for these holiday themed prompts!
